Who Is “The Thrifty Fashionista”????

Hi, my name is Joslyn but you can call me “THE THRIFTY FASHIONISTA”. I am a self-proclaimed thrift-aholic!  I get the biggest thrill when I find a cute dress or fabulous pair of shoes for $2.00. It is ALMOST the best feeling in the world. However I am skipping ahead, let’s go back so I can properly introduce myself. My name is Joslyn S. Slaughter aka “The Thrifty Fashionista”.  I am a 34-year-old single mom to 2 beautiful, fashionable children. Fashion is in my blood. I know people say that all the time but I’m serious, I think it’s part of my DNA. I come from a long line of thrifty fashionistas. I am also an entrepreneur with a fashion and thrifting background. From March 2006 to July 2010 I owned and operated a children and women’s resale clothing boutique called Jordan’s Closets and Jordan’s Mom’s Closets. Now I’m a momprenuer who is re-launching my online children’s resale boutique called Jordan’s Closets.com. I am also a personal shopper, fashion stylist, personal thrift consultant and now a novice writer. I am in the process of writing my very first e-book titled, you guessed it ” Confessions of a Thrift Store Fashionista”. It’s coming soon to a computer near you.
